Mahjong Gala
Cocktails and Exhibition Viewing, 6–7:30 p.m.
Gala Dinner and Special Auction, 7:30–10 p.m.
Celebrate the unveiling of the highly anticipated exhibition Mahjong: Contemporary Chinese Art from the Sigg Collection, the largest and most comprehensive collection of Chinese contemporary art ever shown in the United States. The evening features an exclusive dinner in the museum sculpture garden, with a menu created by Alice Waters and prepared by Olive Green Catering; performance by Gregangelo and Velocity Arts & Entertainment; a live auction conducted by Patrick Meade, chief operating officer, Bonhams & Butterfields; wine generously donated by Hess Collection, Merryvale Vineyards, Napa Station, VinaRobles, and Robert Mondavi Winery; and bottled water by Pure Swiss Water.
