Chez Panisse Celebrates 40 at BAM/PFA!

On Saturday, August 27, as part of Chez Panisse’s birthday celebration, OPENeducation transforms the BAM/PFA sculpture garden and terraces into an open classroom and living kitchen where visitors will shape their own educational experience, participating in the creation, production, and consumption of food. Alice Waters will participate in the festivities, and presigned copies of her latest book, Forty Years of Chez Panisse: The Power of Gathering, will be available for purchase in the Museum Store. This event is free and open to the public. BAM/PFA offers free admission to the galleries on this day; exhibitions on view include Kurt Schwitters: Color and Collage, Create, and Desirée Holman: Heterotopias.
